Meet the Founder
My journey into holistic wellness began with a simple belief: the body has an incredible capacity to heal when we learn to work with it instead of against it.
What started with a deep curiosity about natural healing led me to study Ayurveda and Aromatherapy, where I discovered a profound system that views health as balance—not just the absence of illness. That experience transformed the way I understood wellness and inspired me to create ORAYANAH.
ORAYANAH was born from my desire to preserve the wisdom of traditional healing while making it meaningful for modern life. Although Ayurveda is the foundation of my work, my journey continues through the study of aromatherapy, sound healing, Chinese medicine, and other holistic traditions. I believe every healing tradition offers unique wisdom, and my mission is to honor each one with authenticity and respect.
I believe that how something is made is just as important as what goes into it. Rather than taking shortcuts, I choose to prepare many of my products using traditional methods whenever possible. For example, my 100-times washed ghee is patiently handcrafted through the time-honored Ayurvedic process of Shata Dhauta Ghrita, where ghee (made by me from scratch) is repeatedly washed by hand until it transforms into a cooling, silky cream treasured for centuries. These practices require time, patience, and intention, but I believe they preserve the integrity and spirit of the medicine.
Every ingredient is thoughtfully selected, and every product is created with care and purpose. My hope is not only to offer natural products, but to preserve ancient traditions and share them in a way that supports the body, calms the mind, and nurtures the spirit.
Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your healing journey.
With gratitude,
Tonie Huang
